My plans for the weekend.
I have made some interesting plans for the coming weekend and I hope that I will be able to realize them.
First of all I am going to get up very early on Saturday morning and I am going to buy fresh bread and rolls for my parents. I want to do this because I want them to be in a good mood when I tell them about my plans. I am going to tell them about my plans in the morning, not earlier because they will have less time to think about them. I hope that my trick will work!
After breakfast I am going to ask my parents for permission to go to my friend Martyna’s little cottage to celebrate her birthday. And I would like to stay there until midnight. I hope my parents will allow me to go because I am a good daughter (fresh rolls!) and I have no problems at school.
Than I am going to call my best friend Basia and we are going to do some shopping for the party. We have decided that all the guests would bring something to eat and drink to the party so as not to make it too expensive for Martyna. We are going to buy some Pepsi Cola, some salami and ham for sandwiches, a few bananas and all the ingredients which we need to make a cheesecake.
After shopping we are going to bake the cheesecake. Neither of us has ever made any so I hope that my mother will help us a bit. When the cheesecake is ready we are going to prepare our clothes and make up for the party. Usually I am not allowed to wear make-up but I can put it on when I go to a party or to the disco.
My clothes are going to be quite crazy. I am going to wear a funny orange skirt, yellow tights and a bright green T-shirt. Basia says that I am going to look like a big citrus fruit. I agree with her especially as I am going to put some orange mascara onto my hair!
When we arrive at our friend’s cottage we are going to arrange the food and drinks. The boys are going to take care of the records and the musical equipment. We do not have any detailed arrangements about the party itself but apart from dancing and eating we are certainly going to play some games, talk and maybe watch a video. After the party we are going to stay for a while and clean up the mess. I hope the boys are going to help, too.
On Sunday I am going to sleep for a very long time because I am not used to going to bed very late. When I wake up I am going to do my homework and study for Monday’s lessons.
